Hatsanda is a 5-year old girl from Afghanistan with a noble dream. A dream to make our world, not just hers, a greener and cleaner one!

What is she doing to do her bit? She has vowed to give a special gift to every city or town she visits anywhere in the world. The gift of a tree! She hopes her initiative to plant a tree will inspire many other children around the world.

This little girl has already planted over 30 trees in the last two years in Afghanistan and the US. Today she is planting in India.

Hatsanda visited Gurgaon this January – it was a medical visit to the hub of medical tourism in India. She took time between her treatments to plant a tree at a school in the satellite city.

 

She even inspired an entire school to plant trees with her!

 

Children can inspire change – after all they are ones that will inherit what we leave behind!
